Danielle Buonaiuto, soprano, with Sandra Mogensen at the piano, will perform a program at St James Anglican Church in Stratford on Saturday, May 14.
The concert will begin at 7.30. Admission is $20 and $10 for students.
The program, inspired by the best-selling self-help book "He's just not that into you", will offer some modern reflections on the plights of famously spurned women in history and literature, such as the wives of Henry VIII, Hamlet's Ophelia, and Pamina from the Magic Flute.
Danielle Buonaiuto is currently based in Baltimore, Maryland but completed her studies at the University of Western Ontario. This is her first tour in Ontario since leaving the country.

I have been invited to perform some concerts in Norway this summer. The most exciting of the venues is the concert hall at Troldhaugen, Grieg's home. The hall is known as "Troldsalen" and it is beautiful!
